Preparing For Gustav

As Gustav bears down on the U.S. Gulf Coast and New Orleans, thinking people prepare. Some are evacuating.

At least Gov. Bobby Jindal won't let firearms be confiscated this time around.

    The biggest sellers in the stores there from a good source. . .223 ammo.

    People don't expect the police to be able to protect them, no matter how well equipped and intentioned they can be.

    I would not be surprised at all that the self defense tool of choice is changing. Katrina and NOLA taught the people of the United States a lesson. Thanks for writing Brigid.
