Analysis from my good friends over at Buckeye Firearms Association regarding SB184, Ohio's Castle Doctrine/No Duty To Retreat legislation.

It looks like some good and some bad in the substitute bill that was introduced on Wednesday before the Ohio Senate Criminal Justice Committee.

He has been asked by lawmakers numerous times to testify before the Ohio General Assembly, Columbus City Council, and other elected bodies regarding proposed laws to affect crime. He is an NRA Certified Firearms Instructor, and certified personal safety instructor teaching the Refuse To Be A Victim curriculum. He is a past chairman of Peoples Rights Organization (www.peoplesrights.org), Ohio's oldest statewide grassroots firearms rights organization. He has been a long-time instructor of monthly tactical self defense classes with a not-for-profit organization in Central Ohio.
