Protest (At Least In Columbus) A Fizzle

The Protest Easy Guns "Lie In" In Columbus drew no one to watch, except local media.

Out of respect for the Virginia Tech families, I decided not even to attend to the protest on the Ohio State oval by groups exploiting the tragedy of a year ago. The groups are calling for gun control regs that would have have had a single bit of impact on that horrible event.

It was a solemn day at the Virginia Tech campus, where administrators last week told gun control extremists there were not welcome to protest. And at least here in Columbus, where students did remember, no one paid attention to the handful of people -- most not even from Columbus -- who made a spectacle of themselves at the heart of The Ohio State University main campus.
