Melted Firearms Stolen Off California Front Porch

From the Mohave (California) Daily News police blotter:

Dateline -- Bullhead City, CA -- "Sometime around Jan. 7, an unusual item was stolen from the front porch of a residence in the 1000 block of Citrus Street after someone entered the gated yard.According to the victim, a house fire earlier this year melded together rifles, handguns and jewelry to the cubical shape of the safe they were kept in. This item was rescued from the fire and had reportedly been sitting on a relative's front porch before it disappeared."

Perhaps the thieves thought it was a piece of contemporary art.
