Updated Jan. 18, 2008, 3:18 pm -- I can't locate the link, but a few minutes ago I read a comment from someone regarding this story on another website. She referred to the robber's action as, and I am paraphrasing here, "turning the 'wedding package' into pink mist." Man, I needed a good laugh. This has not been the best Friday in recent months.

An Indiana man shot himself in the goodies, and his leg, during a botched C-store robbery.
Police found him at his grandmother's home in bad shape after replaying the store's videotape following the event and watching a gun discharge as the bad guy put it in his waistband. The store clerk told police the robber then grabbed the bag full of cash (and presumably his own bag), and scampered out the door.
Besides being minus a brain, he is currently down to one testicle.
Note: To my friends and readers who wonder about Karma, this is it baby.
