Report: Prez Candidates Ignoring Bloomberg Gun Pleas

All I can say to this is good riddance!

Though I know everyone is looking at the issue through a political lens, at least Mayor Michael Bloomberg's shrill scheming in Iowa and New Hampshire (site of the first presidential primaries) appears to be falling on deaf ears.

In a related matter (on Bloomberg, that is), a new bill in the Georgia legislature will probably put the New York City mayor in a very foul mood.

From the Rome News-Tribune newspaper in Georgia: "New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg would face criminal penalties for sending undercover agents to Georgia to try to get gun shops to sell to "straw purchasers" with plans for reselling in other states . . ."

Let it never be said that lawmakers in Georgia suffer from the weenie factor!
