Well, well, well . . . Jim Irvine at Buckeye Firearms Association did a little checking. Turns out the all important ban on so-called "assault weapons" that Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson bemoans has been undone by the Ohio General Assembly, was good for -- nothing! During Jackson's administration, the now defunct ban was never utilized. Not once.
