Cook County supervisors don't like that Cabela's -- the world foremost outdoors outfitter -- sells firearms to LAW-ABIDING people. So they have proposed two ordinances that would effectively shut down a brand new Cabelas superstore in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
This is just wrong. If there was ever any doubt, this proves once more that an elected body can trample the rights of citizens -- and businesses -- just as easily as a petty dictator.
