If They Only Had A Brain . . .

Dateline Richmond, Va. -- Grabbers and anti self defense politicos are using the Virginia Tech shootings to push for an end to private transactions of firearms, specifically those at gun shows.
People stood three-deep at the Virginia statehouse yesterday to hear testimony on the controversial legislation. A Senate committee delayed action on the bill. On Friday, a Virginia House of Delegates version of a similar bill was defeated in the militia and police committee in by a 13-9 vote.

During the hearing, clear stats showing that fewer than 0.7 percent of guns used in crimes can be traced back to gun show sales were entered into the record. Still, there are well meaning people who feel passionately about this issue. There are others with more questionable motives using the emotion of the event to advance a larger agenda. You get it, right? The antis are using a shooting by a deranged criminal, who bought his guns in a store -- with a background check -- to shut down commerce at venues, gun shows, that played no role whatsoever in the horrible events of last year.
