As Casualties Mount, Some Question the Emotional Stability of Media Vets

Updated: January 21, 2008, 11:02 pm -- Announcing the Media Violence Project, a public service message that we must make sure everyone hears. Work is moving forward to set up a non-profit foundation, and to create -- POSTERS!! Remember, its for the childr . . . oops, I mean, it's for the journalists.

Iowahawk has a devastating exposé of the growing phenomenon of journalist psychopathy, entitled: Bylines of Brutality.

Unrelated incidents, or mounting evidence of that America’s newsrooms have become a breeding ground for murderous, drunk, gun-wielding child molesters? Answers are elusive, but the ever-increasing toll of violent crimes committed by journalists has led some experts to warn that without programs for intensive mental health care, the nation faces a potential bloodbath at the hands of psychopathic media vets.

Satire? Yes. But all of these stories of media on the brink are true. They are used to illustrate the ridiculousness of the New York Times hatchet job on U.S. military veterans.

All the more reason to license all the journalists, with all stories subject to a three-day cooling off period prior to publication (okay, as a recovering journalist I'm not really in favor of this last idea, but it is used here to point out the disconnect of those who for some reason would die to defend the 1A, but inexplicably say the 2A is unnecessary).

In a related matter, journalists Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann can hardly call themselves objective reporters after these reactions to candidate Fred Thompson's speech.

GREAT HUMOR. VERY WELL WRITTEN AND SHOULD BE FOOD FOR THOUGHT FOR SOME OF THESE TROLLS, AS MR REYNOLDS OCCASIONALLY REFERS TO THEM.
