BREAKING NEWS: Dial 911 and Wait -- PART II

This was passed on to me today by a reader. Police in Indiana yesterday released this audio tape of a 911 call from a woman who was being stalked by a man she had dated just once.

On Nov. 17, 2007, he pounded on her doors and windows and ultimately broke into her house. She locked herself in her bedroom and had a firearm in hand that was given to her by a friend who knew she was being harrassed. She called 911, but the police would not be able to get there in time . . .

READ the full news story here.

As you will hear on the tape, her attacker breaks into her room and she yells at him to stop (you can hear his voice in the background talking to her). The police are still minutes away. And then . . . a gunshot is heard.

YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO THIS 911 CALL. If you are on the fence about self defense, it may change how you think.

As the old saying goes, when seconds count, police are minutes away. This is not an indictment of law enforcement, but instead it is a reality check. The concept that people should wait for help is not reasonable. If you choose to wait, that is your choice.

But if you choose to be your first line of defense, you should not have prosecutors, anti-self defense politicians and media representatives who are ignorant of the real world dictating your choices of defense tools.

WARNING: This is chilling to listen to . . . and educational.

Yeah tell me about it. I had to listen to it two or three times. Gave me the chills each time. I feel for this woman. She should receive a 2nd Amendment Defender of the Month Award from SAF.
