The Ready Line is an online journal that focuses on the American "arms war." We provide commentary and facilitate thoughtful and intellectually honest discussions about America's most cherished -- and attacked -- civil liberty. We discuss firearms facts and examine what's happening in the U.S. and around the world. And there is humor. At its heart, The Ready Line is about the basic human right of self defense.

Honors

Criminal Justice Degrees Guide, one of the most comprehensive listings of criminal justice degree programs at U.S. colleges and universities, has named The Ready Line one of the Top 50 blogs in the United States for gun enthusiasts.

On Commenting

Comments are encouraged, but are moderated. Not because I am afraid of an intellectually honest debate -- far from it! In fact, I relish dialogue and debate. No, I object to spam. From auto-spammers pushing presidential candidates, to ads for replica watches, and pills or creams designed to engorge your goodies. They get moved to the circular file. All non-spam comments and questions are published.
