Well, it's confirmed. The teacher in Portsmouth, Ohio, who was executed by her husband in front of her fifth grade students at Notre Dame elementary school, had sworn out a civil protection order against her killer. The Portsmouth Daily Times has the story.
" 'I'm afraid he'll hurt me or my son when he's mad,' Christi Layne wrote in her
petition in January, for a domestic violence civil protection order against her
husband, the late William Michael (Mike) Layne."
The two were separated and Mrs. Layne was filing for a divorce.
A simple question . . . How many more people have to die because domestic violence "experts" and anti-violence advocates convince women that a piece of paper will protect them?
