Updated: Tuesday, March 18, 2008, 10 am -- LIVE BLOG of the Heller arguments from SCOTUSblog.com will not start until approximately 11:30 am.

**********
SCOTUSblog.com plans to provide a link to live coverage, via C-SPAN, tomorrow of the District of Columbia v. Heller oral arguments. Arguments are scheduled to begin at 10 am, eastern.

It won't be a true live audio feed, but a continuing transcript of what is being discussed in the Court. The Supreme Court does not permit electronic transmission equipment in the main chambers during oral arguments.

I will post more on this Tuesday morning. So for now, for live coverage of the case, plan to click over to: SCOTUSblog.com. If you go there now, you can read up on what they are planning, and get a sense for how the system will work.

I'm considering live-blogging the transcript. We'll see how my schedule works out.

IN THE MEANTIME, on the eve of the showdown at our nation's High Court, below are links to additional media coverage on the case:

Los Angeles Times -- "Supreme Court to hear challenge to D.C. gun law"
New York Times -- "Gun Case Causes Bush Administration Rift"
Chicago Tribune -- "Gun-rights ruling could ricochet across nation"
International Herald-Tribune -- "Gun control should be a hot topic among U.S. presidential aspirants"
New York Sun -- "N.Y. Gun Laws in Balance as High Court Weighs D.C. Case"

As a Jewess in the US, I look forward to seeing the Court's decision. First, I would like to remind everyone that America wasn't won with a registered gun! Furthermore, criminals are stopped by FIREARMS, not by talk. That is why all REAL Americans put our 2nd Amendment FIRST!
