The Seattle Post-Intelligencer has a piece on how gun control doesn't seem to be an issue for the 2008 elections, and the fact that no one wants to fight with the National Rifle Association. I would humbly disagree that there are no fights out there. The big problem is complacency among firearms owners, who are not engaging with grassroots groups and NRA because they believe no one is threatening their rights. You should see the laundry list of anti-gun, anti-freedom bills introduced by the antis in Congress. If a one of their ilk is elected president, the world is going to change for Americans and the basic human right of self defense. Click on the post headline for the big story.
