Sam Ohlinger is a smiling college kid who teaches professional soldiers how to better use their rifles.
His lessons are helping Army marksman double their effective range. He is 22, a political science major, and a member of The Ohio State University rifle team.
"Ohlinger was 19 when he was selected as an instructor, which made him the youngest of the 30 chosen at that time. The photo comes from his latest gig, a weeklong trip in December to Fort Benning, Ga., to work with the 3rd Ranger Battalion. He previously worked with the 82nd Airborne Division."
Think this will push the gun control crowd over the edge? Read Ohlinger's fascinating story here.
