Obama Is All About 'Sportsmen and Hunters;" Apparently Does Not Know About Self Defense

To read the latest transcript of an interview with presidential candidate Barack Obama, one is encouraged that he seems to be all for the rights of hunters and sportsmen.

"I believe in Second Amendment rights and I believe in the rights of hunters and sportsmen to bear arms and use them in a responsible way. I would want to review the National Park initiative to make sure that there was acutally a rationale for it."

But firearms for self defense? Nowhere do you find him speaking to this very important issue . . . unless he is talking about four-legged predators -- in this instance, bears. Obama continues to ignore the very real problem of two-legged predators, which also inhabit our national parks.

Ahead in the delegate count, with a big Pennslvania primary coming in five weeks, Obama talked to Casper Star-Tribune in Wyoming. Here is the transcript of the exchange.
