Cooper's 'Combat Mindset' vs. Today's 'Feminized Majority'

"I often think how few people in our society would really know what to do if they were confronted with a mortal confrontation. Sadly, our mindset is now more like The New Feminized Majority in which soft power and discussions are slowly taking the place of the Combat Mind-set. Is this a good thing?"

Hard to tell, but maybe not.
The quote above is from Dr. Helen Smith, who takes a look at Col. Jeff Cooper, his incredible teachings, writings and philosophy, and wonders why his values are suggested by some to be less and less relevant in today's world. Women in government and leadership? A good thing? A softer edge at times? Perhaps helpful. Should everyone -- men as well -- adopt the softer edge talk everything out?
Nope.
Personally, Col. Cooper's values are very relevant. Jude Cuddy, who contributes to The Ready Line from time to time, and I have had numerous discussions on Cooper and this very subject (well, frankly we did NOT talk about "The New Feminized Majority"). But I ask you: What's wrong with honor, duty and bravery?

Here's the dilemma: Touchy-feely folks teaching our kids and in leadership positions both politically and in your neighborhoods telling people its okay to roll over and be a good victim. Not a good choice, IMHO.
