Updated: Friday, March 14, 2008, 12:04 pm -- Mr. Strickland continues to laugh off reports that he is a front-runner for a VP slot with Hillary Clinton, whom he supports, and even her rival, Barack Obama.
*********
Syndicated columnist George Will, in a column published nationally today, says either an Obama or Clinton ticket would do well with Ted Strickland as the vice presidential candidate.
Will, in a column from last December, referred to pro-gun democrat Strickland as "the popular governor of the Center of the Universe Every Fourth Year, a.k.a. Ohio (20 electoral votes)."
Here is what he said today about the possibilities: "The choice of Strickland would be, in military terminology, a force multiplier."
IF that happens, and anti-gun Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher moves up to the big desk in the Ohio governor's office, don't say you weren't warned . . .
