The Next Democrat Battle

Updated: Friday, May 2, 2008, 9:35 am -- Paul Kirk, a superdelegate who led the democrat party from 1985-1989, is expected to announce today he is supporting Obama -- a day after Joe Andrew's switch. There may be additional such announcements before the day is over.

********
- Hillary Clinton is showing momentum in Indiana, and may have broken out a huge lead there over rival Barack Obama.

- Superdelegate Joe Andrew, former head of the Democratic National Committee, has switched his allegiance and is now backing Obama.

- The Politico reports on "what Obama wishes he could say."

- More planted town hall questions, this time at a McCain rally.

- Paranoia: Is Jeremiah Wright's refusal to keep quiet a Clintonian plot to hurt Obama?
