Philadelphia Going To Court Over General Law

Pennsylvania has a general law that puts responsibility for all firearms regulations in the hands of state lawmakers.

City officials in Philadelphia are going to court asking that the law be overturned so that they may make their own stringent gun control regulations.

If successful, look for Philly's already high violent crime rate to skyrocket. Like Washington DC's perhaps, where the district's 30-year-old handgun ban has been highly successful in . . .

Oh wait, that's right. Violence has escalated since the ban was put in place. That's why the U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments in less than a week to overturn the ban.

Philly, take a memo.
