Republican Gov. Charlie Crist of Florida has joined the governor of Michigan in urging that officials find a way to seat delegates from those two states at the national party conventions. If it takes a new primary in Florida, Crist would support it.
Dem Party Chair Howard Dean says the party should come up with a way for the states to repeat their nominating primaries. A Florida congressman says if something isn't done, it will be "a train wreck."
If new primaries take place, however, politicos say holding new elections (in apparent violation of the party's rules) will tip the balance of the democrat nomination. Right now, though Hillary Clinton won three of four primaries Tuesday night, including the Big Kahunas -- Ohio and Texas -- the delegate count is virtually unchanged, giving Barack Obama a slim edge.
