Predictions for the outcome of Super Tuesday II are coming in. The big enchiladas? Delegates from Ohio and Texas, for which both Sens. Obama and Clinton are fighting tooth and nail.
-- Outside The Beltway gives Texas to Obama, narrowly, and a comfortable win in Ohio for Hillary.
-- Ben Smith of The Politico doesn't prognosticate, but he has a fascinating roundup of columns from various sources, with lots of behind the scenes projections and observations.
-- CNN exit polling.
-- CBS News exit polling.
BTW, the weather sucks here in the Buckeye State. Ice and snow in western and northwestern Ohio, with soaking rains and flooding in other parts of the state. Here in Central Ohio, Franklin County to be specific, we have been under a flood warning all day. In eastern Ohio, just west of Pittsburgh, Jefferson County may allow provisional voting into tomorrow to take care of voters who live in flooded areas and cannot get to the polls.
Driving downtown Columbus to get to my office was interesting as well. Its as if the live television news world descended on Capitol Square.
Also, I don't want to give short shrift to Rhode Island and Vermont. I've only been to Rhode Island once, but Vermont is one of my favorite states. Bennington in particular is a gorgeous village and driving the Molly Stark Trail is one of the most scenic routes in New England, providing breathtaking vistas at every turn -- and there are a lot of turns.
I will make sure to cover the results of the primaries in those two states as well.
