Media Spin On Castro 'Resignation' Not Surprising

Is it any wonder that the MSM will ignore common sense and mountains of empiracal evidence to look the other way when discussions of college campus safety turn to arming students and professors?

So we shouldn't be surprised that CNN told its reporters how to cover the "retirement" of Cuba's Fidel Castro.

From a CNN internal memo . . .
"Please note Fidel did bring social reforms to Cuba – namely free education and universal health care, and racial integration. in addition to being criticized for oppressing human rights and freedom of speech."

From National Review writer John Derbyshire . . .
"Wherever there is a jackboot stomping on a human face there will be a well-heeled Western liberal to explain that the face does, after all, enjoy free health care and 100 percent literacy."

Even ABC's Diane Sawyer referred to him the other day as the "dashing revolutionary."

So I ask you (in my best Howie Mandel "Deal or No Deal voice) . . . Any questions?
