Eugene Volokh and Glenn Harlan Reynolds were guests on the Hugh Hewitt radio talk show yesterday following the news of the shooting of defenseless students at Northern Illinois University (NIU) in DeKalb, Ill., a bedroom community of Chicago. The topic? "Should students be allowed to carry concealed firearms on campus?"
Volokh is a law professor at UCLA. Reynolds is a law professor at the University of Tennessee. Here is the transcript of their very interesting interview, plus a column that Reynolds penned in 2007 in the wake of the Virginia Tech shootings.
