Updated: Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, 10:49 pm -- Its like they are reading my mind (or this blog). Just six minutes after I posted the words below about Ohio being a player after all in the nominating process, the Columbus Dispatch posted a lengthy story on the same thing. Okay, I know there are some at the Big D who read TRL (I've gotten emails from them). And for a policy wonk like myself, it has been easy to see that the state America loves to hate (that would be us here sandwiched between Lake Erie and the Ohio River) would play a role once more if these races were not decided tonight.
**********
Neither the republican nor democrat presidential nomination fights are going to be decided tonight. Though John McCain had predicted he would be the nominee once all was said and done this evening, Mike Huckabee's strong showing in the south has stalled McCain's coronation.
From CNN.
Interestingly, Ohio may yet play a role in helping decide nominees from one or both major political parties.
