Just a few days after the Guvernator endorsed John McCain, his wife, California First Lady Maria Shriver (John F. Kennedy's niece) today endorsed Barack Obama for president.
It was a star-power endorsement, as well. The rally, held at one of the University of California campuses, also was attended by talk show queen Oprah Winfrey, Shriver's cousin Caroline Kennedy who is the daughter of slain president John F. Kennedy, Obama's wife Michelle, and pop music legend Stevie Wonder.
Meanwhile, Obama also picked up a key media endorsement. America's largest Hispanic newspaper made the recommendation to its readers who vote democrat, while also endorsing John McCain as the best republican presidential nominee.
