Are someone's ears burning?
Actually, I can't blame the Violence Policy Center and Mr. Sugarmann for wanting to know what is being said about their "little secret." From here, they headed over to Sebastian's place at Snowflakes in Hell.

BTW, very special thanks go to David Codrea for the tips on screen capture. You're the man!

Well, Brent, just wanted to say goodbye.
Unless I'm surfing from a public library, this is likely my last visit to The Ready Line. You can probably tell where I'm posting this from, and even the remote possibility of ramifications due to your posting my collected information means I won't be visiting.
I'm kind of disappointed in your collection and posting of VPC's info. I realize the irony, and why you wanted to post, but it feels kind of creepy. I realize you are not the government or anything, but the collection and dissemination of information thought to be anonymous or private is ethically marginal at best, imho.
Maybe I'll try to figure out how to use an anonymous proxy server to disguise my access, as I really do enjoy your site - I just can't visit it from work any longer.
Best regards,
A frequent reader and commenter.
