Obama At It Again

Not a firearms story, but this piece at least gives you a better idea of the mindset of presidential wannabe Sen. Barack Obama. As you know he is seeking his party's nomination to run for president of the United States against Sen. Hillary Clinton.

Oh, right . . . mindset? Tell them what they want to hear.

No matter who "them" or "they" is. Or is it are? Hmmm. . .

Anyway, this time its all about his pro-Palestinian, pro-Israeli positions.

I totally respect your anti-Obama sentiment, but saying about any politician that they are two-faced is like saying a tree is made out of wood - duh! It certainly applies with equal force to McCain/Bush/Clinton/etc. I would say I've seen more McCain flip-flopping than Obama - and Romney?!? Don't get me started!

Honest, principled, straight-talking politicians are unfortunately completely unelectable in this country. It's sad.

Look at Ron Paul & Dennis Kucinich. And yes, I know Kucinich is a nutjob, but at least he seemed to have an honest, consistent message ;)

A- Thanks for the note. I know what you mean. Its just that his stuff just keeps coming and coming. I had a chat with an aide in the Ohio Statehouse last week. Someone was complaining about a witness who had come forward on some legislation, and was saying that they lied about facts of a case to make their case. This person wanted them sued for libel or slander. Of course, as you may know, pretty much anything can be said in a public forum such as a city council meeting or state committee hearing. As the aide noted . . . if we made it illegal to lie, all the lobbyists would be out of a job.

Yes, every one of them is two=faced, and I hope you realize I have been an equal opportunity editor in pointing it all out -- whether it is coming from McCain, Huckabee, Clinton or Obama -- or even our own Dennis Kucinich here in Ohio. Its just that Sen. Obama seems to be on more of a roll with this stuff lately. So I tend to cover him more.
