PSH In Florida

PSH like you've never heard before (well, okay, maybe you have) in Florida, courtesy of the editors at the St. Petersburg Times.

"Take this extreme approach by gun zealots to its logical conclusion. If concealed weapons are fine in private parking lots, it won't be long before the argument is made that guns should be allowed inside. Large employers and retail outlets will reconsider whether they should hire armed security to be on equal footing with their workers and customers. Criminals will see parking lots as even more attractive targets because of the likelihood that they will find guns."

Interesting. Disarming law abiding citizens and setting up victim-rich zones has long been the extreme approach of anti-gun zealots to combatting crime.

Interesting choice of words . . .

I do agree with this notion in another context. The idea that here in Ohio we have to disarm to go in restaurants, etc., etc. does increase the liklihood of a gun being stolen - not to mention the increased administrative handlings upping the chances of an AD/ND.

The response shouldn't be gun control, however, it should be letting CCW permit holders to leave it on all day!
