The AP Has Its Wires In A Bunch

. . . or panties.

Nevertheless, it goofed in a recent piece trying to highlight gun controllers shrill contention that our streets are filled with AKs and ARs. In fact, the story inadvertently ended up blasting a hole in the gun controllers contention that firearms trace data is not available and that laws have to be changed to make it so.

How? The Associated Press used the very data that gun controllers say is not available as the basis for their story.
